St.George's Council  grant programs support religious and theological study conducted by pastors, scholars, and researchers in Grenada and the Caribbean. Read on to discover which grant might be right for your project!

Pastoral Study Project

The St.George's Council Pastoral Study Project Grant (PSP) awards grants of up to support independent or collaborative study projects on Christian life, religious practices and institutions, and possibilities and ideas for the church, our communities, and the wider world. Grants are awarded to skilled and innovative clergy, lay leaders, and staff working in diverse Christian contexts in Grenada and the Caribbean. 

Project Grand For Researchers

The Project Grant for Researchers (PGR) supports scholarly research projects about Christian faith and life, the practice of ministry, religious trends and movements, Christian and other faith-based institutions, and religion and social issues. Grants of up to $30,000 support projects that may be independent or collaborative, and may be rooted in fields such as history, systematic and practical theology, social science, ethics, biblical studies, etc., or may be interdisciplinary in nature. Of particular interest to the St.George's Inistutue are projects that bridge academic scholarship and the life of the church in Grenada and the Caribbean.

First Book Grant for Grenadian Scholars

The First Book Grant for Grenadian Scholars (FBG) provides grants up to assist early career, religion scholars of in Grenada to complete a major research project about Christian faith and life, the practice of ministry, religious trends and movements, Christian and other faith-based institutions, and religion and social issues. Projects may be rooted in fields such as history, systematic and practical theology, social science, ethics, biblical studies, etc., or may be interdisciplinary in nature. Of particular interest to the Louisville Institute are projects that bridge academic scholarship and the life of the church in Grenada.
